Module Description

How do we create a just society? How does Christianity contribute to the discussion about ethics in politics? How can faith be a partner in conversation with those who are trying to create an ethical framework for politics today? To what extent can religion speak to the pressing political issues of our day? These and other important questions are the subject of this module. It seeks to offer signposts as to how faith can help us navigate a route to a more ethical politics.

John Scally: PhD, lectures in Theology in TCD and was a secondary school teacher for 20 years. He is the author of over 40 books. His most recent book is ‘Inspiration for all Seasons: Celtic Wisdom for Today’.
