A main objective of Catholic schools is to serve their students through the development of a vision of Catholic education and overseeing its implementation in their schools. This is a challenging task in an increasingly secular society. Two fundamental questions Catholic schools must face are: Who are we? In an era when all students in a Catholic school can no longer be presumed to be from practising Catholic families, how do we explain ourselves as Catholic schools?
