Module Description

People respond differently to the idea of God, the experience of mystery, or the concept of a transcendent being. The great mystic St Bonaventure outlined the stages in our developing relationship with God. Starting from these stages, this module will help us identify for ourselves at which stage we are and what is needed to make progress in our relationship with God. To this end, the spiritual life will be explored through the lens of nature, body, mind, love, Jesus, Trinity, intimacy, and the quest for ultimate meaning.

John McEvoy: is a retired lecturer in Chemistry at the DIT. He has degrees in both Science and Theology and lectured in Milltown, All Hallows and Lumen on Science/Theology and Franciscan Studies
