Module Description

Centering Prayer is a method which opens us to receive the gift of Contemplative Prayer. It is based on the wisdom saying of Jesus: “When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret” (Matt 6:6). This semester we will continue our practice of Centering Prayer as a group. We will also deepen our understanding of Centering Prayer through reflection on the series by Fr Thomas Keating OCSO “The Spiritual Journey”.

Voluntary contribution at each session

Ellen (Rose) Gormley: is an experienced teacher and a trained psychotherapist. She has practised Centering Prayer for many years.

Eileen White: has worked in Education for many years. She has worked in counselling and retreat work. Eileen has been practicing Centering Prayer for a number of years.
