For many, at least part of the current crisis of the Catholic Church in Ireland is connected with Cardinal Paul Cullen, archbishop of Dublin 1852-1878. His Romanizing agenda was seen as suppressing the ancient Celtic Church. Is it possible that a return to the Celtic tradition holds the key to true reform today?
